Covid-19 Coronavirus Update
As at November 2020 we continue to offer our online service as usual. All orders are fulfilled as per our normal delivery times using second class postage, or first class where purchased. Please see our FAQs for delivery deadlines.
We are continuing to operate during the current Covid-19 crisis.
What has been affected are delivery times from Royal Mail. They are struggling to deliver in the current crisis and have a very large backlog of mail to deliver with a reduced staff number.
We use standard Royal Mail services (1st & 2nd Class) and most orders go out as a Large Letter. This is not a trackable service.
In normal times 1st Class delivery is quoted as 1-2 working days and 2nd Class is 3-4 working days. Items are not deemed lost or undelivered until 10 working days after dispatch. (Note: Royal Mail Class working days as Monday to Friday and not weekends or Bank Holidays)
We are now regularly seeing delivery times of 5 working days for 1st Class and 10+ working days for 2nd Class.
In addition to this Royal Mail issued a statement on 29th April that they have now stopped all deliveries on a Saturday. This will of course impact on when you get your order, and will extend the time limit on lost or undelivered items.
Deliveries to some areas are dependent on the staffing levels at the various sorting and delivery offices your parcel has to go through.
